Eight Gallon Bulk, Painter Special
Two individual four gallon containers, enough additive
to mix with eight gallons of primer.
Each gallon of magnetic paint will cover an area of approximately 160 to 175 square feet with two coats or about 85 square feet with three to four coats. Two coats are required while some people prefer 3 or 4 coats for maximum magnetic attraction. Results vary with thickness of application. More coats equal stronger magnetic attraction.
This item includes two individual four gallon containers, enough additive to mix with eight gallons of primer. Each jug contains enough dry, concentrated, magnetic additive (thirty-two pounds) to mix with four full gallons of white, oil based or latex, primer/sealer, stain blocker paint. This makes slightly more than four full gallons of magnetically attractive paint per container. Because the additive will increase the volume of the paint it is mixed with, you will want to use a mixing container that is larger than the volume of paint you are using. Apply with a nine inch foam paint roller. We advise using white primer/sealer to mix with our additive because it's cheaper than finish paint and it's formulated to stick to any surface, painted or unpainted, while it's also a wonderful base coat for any finish paint. Our additive will not change the color of the primer/sealer paint and will be easy to cover with any color finish paint. Top-coat with your customer's color choice of any latex paint.
