These beautiful magnetic frames are great for mailable magnetic wedding thank you photos, birth announcements, birthday photos, vacation pictures or just about any special occasion. These magnetic frames have room for a special custom imprint of up to 28 characters, including spaces, in one line. Two line imprints are also available as well as custom logo and type imprints made with a special custom imprint die. Imprints can be done on our standard 3.5"x5", 4"x6" and 5"x7" Soft Pocket frames.
Colored imprints
We use colored foils to hot stamp imprint your message on the front of the frames. The imprint is best done with a color that will contrast with the colors in the photo. Gold foil is always a favorite. It has the look of quality that makes these frames perfect for any occasion. The imprint is permanent and will not rub or wash off.
How imprints are applied
We use our standard White Original Soft Pocket frames and imprint across the long side at the bottom of the photo area in a landscape format. Portrait format imprinted frames are available also. Your picture just slides into the frame with your personal message for all to see. Your special imprint becomes a permanent part of the frame and ensures that your enclosed photo will stay in the frame and on your recipient's fridge or other metal display surface for a long time to come.
The size of your imprint
Any message up to 28 characters long is possible. The only thing dictating what you can say is your imagination. Give us a call to discuss your needs or to place your order. We have the frames in stock for regular imprinting and it takes only five days to get a special imprint die made for logos, special type styles or more complicated images.
Choosing your type style
At this time, we have two type styles available for hot stamp imprinting. The type is set manually and is limited only by the number of 28 to 30 letters and spaces per line. To see samples of the type styles, click here. Our most popular type style is a simple block style named Cheltenham Bold Italic that is easily read. The other style is a script-like style, more delicate and similar to handwriting. It is called Goudy Cursive. Both styles are in 18 point letters. You will need to choose a type style and a color of ribbon to use to make the imprint. Gold leaf is a very popular color choice but many other metallic colors are also available.
Pricing
It takes time to set up and print imprints so we have a $30.00 set-up fee for one line and $45.00 for two lines. Each imprint costs $ .25 per frame for one line imprinting. A two-line imprint costs $ .40 per frame for imprinting. Imprints of a complicated nature with special type styles or logos require a special custom imprint die be made at a one-time cost to you of $80.00 for a standard die and $ .40 per frame for the imprinting. All imprints are one color only and all frames in the order are the same color and imprint. Imprint pricing does not include the cost of the Original Soft Pocket magnetic photo frames.

Cost Effective Alternative to Imprinted Frames
If you would like to produce mailable, imprinted, magnetic photographs, there is a less expensive way that may appeal to you. Wal-mart and other businesses such as quick print shops have photo printers that can be used to print your color photos. You can also add wording to an area of the photos as well as a white background behind the wording. If you choose to print your own imprinted photos, the printing of the personal message is included and you could use our standard magnetic photo frames for the pictures instead of paying extra to have the frames imprinted. This is ideal for small batches of personal photos.
Just take your digital camera or the memory card from the camera to the photo developer or print shop nearest you and they can help you print the photos with your message included. Then simply slide the photos into our magnetic picture frames.
