Although smaller and less powerful than our Safety Cap Rare Earth Magnets, you can use these fabulous colored magnets just like pushpins on any steel surface or a wall painted with magnetic paint. Easy to grasp and easy to use, they hold photos, posters or just about any paper object magnetically. Use them at home, in the office, at church or school. They won't harm your pictures and are easily removed. Each pushpin magnet measures 5/8" wide at its base and 3/4" high. They are available in packs of 12, 24, 36 or bulk packs of nine dozen magnets. Each pack contains magnets in brilliant colors of our choosing. Colors are subject to change. Picture is a representation of some of the colors available.
These pushpin magnets will hold up to 20 sheets of 20 lb bond 8-1/2" x 11" paper on a steel surface or as shown in the photo, one regular carpenter's hammer weighing two pounds. Their hold will not be quite so dramatic on magnetic paint due to the fact that magnetic paint is not solid steel.
You are going to love these little jewels. Your kids will have a blast with them too. The colorful plastic pushpin caps make these rare earth magnets safer and easier to use than other rare earth magnets of their size. Even though the design makes our pushpin magnets safer to use, care should be taken in their use, as rare earth magnets are the strongest magnets available for their size and weight. They are not toys and children should always be supervised in their use. Small children that might swallow magnets should not be allowed to use rare earth magnets of any kind.
These magnets incorporate a high-tech injection mold process in their manufacture. The actual metal rare earth magnet is held in place by the friction of the tight fitting plastic cap that is injected into the mold, around the magnet, as a hot liquid. When the liquid plastic cools, it shrinks making a tight fit around the rare earth magnet in its base.
