Magnetic Paint, Full Gallon Size

Enough to cover an area of approximately 160 to 175 square feet with two coats or about 85 square feet with three to four coats. Two coats are required while some people prefer 3 or 4 coats for maximum magnetic attraction. Results vary with thickness of application. More coats equal stronger magnetic attraction.

This can contains enough dry, concentrated, magnetic additive (a four cup volume weighing eight pounds) to mix with a full gallon of high quality, white, primer/sealer, stain blocker paint, available near you at sale prices. Use either oil based or latex paint to mix with our additive. Because the additive will increase the volume of paint it is mixed with, you will want to use a mixing container that is larger than the volume of paint you are using. The result will actually be more than a full gallon of the highest quality magnetically attractive paint available anywhere. In some cases it is better for us to ship a full gallon's worth of Magically Magnetic Paint Additive as two smaller half gallon's worth containers. Just pour both of the smaller containers of additive into a full gallon of white primer paint and stir with a paint stick. You can also use one container now with half a gallon of paint and save the other sealed container until some later date; making your magnetic paint fresh each time you use it.

Just stir the additive into white primer/sealer, stain blocker paint and apply with a paint roller. We advise using primer sealer paint to mix with our additive because it is thicker and cheaper than finish paint and it is formulated to stick to any surface, painted or unpainted, while it is also a wonderful base coat for any finish paint. The thickness of the paint used with our additive is important because thicker paints hold the magnetic additive particles in suspension better than thinner paints. Oil based primer/sealer paints are actually the thickest and give the best protection for the magnetic additives. High quality latex primer/sealers will also work very well. Do not thin paint containing magnetic additive and never add water to a latex paint mixed with magnetic additive. The stain blocker in the paint will help to cover any marks on the wall that might bleed through to mar the finished job.

Our additive does not change the color of the white primer/sealer paint so it will cover very easily with any color of finish paint. Top-coat with your color choice of any latex paint. Learn more about how to apply and use magnetic paint.
